Survived the surgery quite well, made a good recovery and went back to work after two weeks, might not have been the best idea I ever had. I still feel tired and at least not so confused, after receiving histology results, no surprise there, I phoned my consultant who was extremely helpful and explained all the questions that I had running through my head. Just received my first appointment (one of many) to recheck my bladder, obviously not loooking forward to going into day surgery but needs must!! Appointment not till September and suppose I will try and block it out until then, I find this cancer quite hard to mentally think about at times, its more the waiting inbetween times, but for the moment I am well physically so I feel really lucky that way.
When I think about it a lot has happened to me since April, having cancer, I opened up a cafe, a lot bigger than I've been used to and I quit smoking, a really stressful time.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
