I named my cancer (Stage III Hodgkin's Lymphoma) Patrick.
I have written a book 'The Adventures of Me & Patrick - A cancer journey with a difference' (available on Amazon) detailing the story of my journey with Patrick. Whilst writing my story was very cathartic it was and is intended to be of potential benefit to those of you and those you may know or care for who are enduring their own journeys. Whilst my experience and consequences of chemotherapy will be familiar to many, the attitudes I adopted towards facing my cancer may seem rather different to the considered norm. Having cancer also had a significant number of very positive consequences on my life and my mental health.
I hope that any of you who read about my adventures with Patrick will find it beneficial, it's also quite entertaining and not nearly as depressing as it sounds.
I would be delighted to hear from anyone who does read my book.
Wishing you all the very best with your own journeys.
