Not much to say about this one really. Two months on from my previous follow up and I was in for another blood test and then back at the Cancer Centre for my follow up.
Bit of a non-event (thankfully), oncologist had the usual feel of the lymph nodes and surviving testicle, and that was pretty much it. Bloods don't really add much as my markers were never elevated in the first place.
Next stop - another two months - chest x-Ray, bloods and another appointment.
Worthy of note is Oncologist made the point that I am very low risk at this stage, and that recurrence is very unlikely. I asked if I had a greater propensity to have cancer in the remaining tescticle. He said the chances were maybe 1 in 70, which were also very low, but maybe 10 times higher than It would have been.
Well worth continuing to check myself on that basis...
Other than that, I can safely say that life is as normal as it was before all this happened. No after effects from chemo, fitness is back up again, cycled 100 miles last week, and still breaking my Strava records. Also been doing some running up hills to increase my suffering. All is good!!
