Out of respect for Andrew's phobia of the s*****r word I will try and tell the tale as painlessly as possible. I looked at many different types of bedroom footwear, most of them reminded me of what my grandma used to wear, I was starting to get slightly panicky when low and behold my eyes fell on the pinkest pair of soft half Ugg boots I have ever seen. I ummed and rred for several seconds then grabbed them and rushed to the checkout's. To get to the checkout I had to take a detour past the fresh cream cake selection.........that decision took me longer than the boots but settled on fresh fruit scones.
Finally got back with my purchases and was caught red handed by the other half looking with raised eyebrow's at the pink softness sticking out of my bag. Thought you went to get s*****r's he said. He just shook his head in despair and went to finish making dinner. Both my girls now have their eyes on mums pinkies which they have said are far too cool for me....lol
Laid out all my going away things in readiness for tomorrow then had a lovely shower and then served beautiful dinner, so all in all a good day and night and if I manage to get some sleep it will be a full house.
Take care all
Love Terri xxx
