Another pants night trying to find a comfortable position to lie and get some sleep but managed at last to fall off about 3 ish (seems to be the new witchinh hour for me these days) and was rudely woken at 5.45 by hubby's new all singing all beeping alarm clock. Managed to be civil and shared a coffee before he departed for his daily drive into London and went back upstairs witht eh idea of geting maybe just another hour before the rest of the house woke. Suprisingly I was wide awake and sleep evaded me so up with 3 yr old and managed to get him dressed and fed before nanny turned up to take him to nursery.
Had a soak in the bath in preparation for my visit to hospital to have my arm drained again. Claire (heroine) managed to take all the excess fluid off and immediate relief, I also managed to ask her a few questions that my brain had been unable to formulate when I got the results last week. Then I told her about the lump that had appeared on the top of my leg and asked if it could be related to the surgery and she didn't think so and advised me to ring my GP and make an appointment to see them which I did as I was leaving the hospital. Have to go and sit and wait at 4pm today but should get some sort of answer one way or the other.
Feeling knackered at the moment but resisting the urge for a quick snooze as I'm hoping to fall into a deep sleep tonight but have decided to have a heart to heart with hubby over this new alarm clock, Will let you all know how I get on at docs later.
