Telgirls dance with cance.....14

1 minute read time.

Well tomorrow is D-Day, when the results are in (hopefully). I am feeling strangely calm about the whole thing but that could change in the wee hours tonight lol.

Yesterday cooked up a chicken Tikka Marsala  suprised myself and hubby was really impressed after getting in from a hard days graft to find the dinner already simmering away. Managed to get all the washing done and dried and even managed a little ironing. Then decided that I was on a roll so hoovered through and felt quite good when I had finished and then a cosy night with holby and only fools and horses. Sorry Debs just couldnt bring myself to watch the Z listers.

I was supposed to visit Claire today to have my seroma drained but woke up feeling crappy (thanks daughter No 2) she was sent home from school yesterday after being sick and feeling crappy, so rang Claire and cancelled. The swelling had got quite big up until last night but today there is a marked improvement, it has certainly gone down, could this be my body finally kicking back in and taking over again, I hope so. So feel a lot more comfortable again and have lost that one sided body builder walk. I'm going to ask the consultant if its ok to start driving again and if he agrees I might attempt to drive to work for a few hours on Friday. I have been keeping my eye on the ball via emails but it is not the same and feel then need to get back on the horse and be doing again.

I will let you know how things go tomorrow, thankfully its an early appointment so can get it over and done with and get on with the rest of the day, might even do a bit of christmas shopping while Ive got the hubby off work for the day (but havent informed him of this treat yet lol).

take care love Terri xxx

    Hi Terri,

You did ironing? You must have been on a roll. I hate ironing but sadly you can't get an ironing service on the NHS. It would make me a happier bunny so it seems sensible that anything that helps my mental welfare should be free...

    Perhaps not everything ;-)

Good luck for tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

Hi Terri - will be thinkingof you tomorrow. I am supposed to hear the results of my last CT scan.

You do sound to have been a busy little bee - I have a mountain of ironing - and as for the dust.....!  I have not been in to work since I had surgery - they told me that I am not insured to be on the premises - so I have to sort out all queries etc via e mail. At least checking the work e mails keeps me in touch with what is going on.

    Love from Maralynxx
