Today should have been the day I found out the results from my mastectomy and when the chemo will be starting, but as usual the results are not back so have another week to wait, on the upside have received an appointment through the post today (was only posted yesterday) for another appointment next Thursday at 9 oclock so at least the appointment is 1st thing in the morning so can get it all over and done with and hopefully the whole day will not be a washout.
Well my lovely cousin is taking real good care of me, all of my housework, washing and cleaning is being done and every 30 mins or so I am being asked if there is anything that I want,,,how cool is that. Have decided that tomorrow after having my wound drained I am going to visit M & S and check out their supposed wonderful collection of girlie mastectomy bras so have already warned hubby that overtime is called for as I intended to stock up on anything that catches my eye.
Shhhh just between us its also my cousins birthday tomorrow so have arranged for my fab mum in law to pick up a birthday cake and lots of daft kiddie birthday food so we can have a suprise birthday party for her but dont tell her about it.
Antibiotics are finally kicking in and getting a hold of the infection so starting to feel a lot better now thank god, it seemed for a while there that it was just one thing after another but I supposed these things are sent to try us. So all in all things are now on the up again so bring it on......
