Well this is all getting a little boring for me now. Had a fantastic nights sleep on Monday back in my own bed surround by enough chocolates to rival Thorntons and woke Tuesday feeling not too bad.
Caught up on what had been going on here while away and managed some pate on toast for lunch made for me by my fantastic cousin who had arrived from up north the following day to stay with me and take care of me for a week (how spoilt am I). Started feeling a bit off colour about 1ish hot and icky so had a little cat nap hoping to feel better when I woke up. Mother in law arrived at 5 to drop off my son and when she saw me was not happy, running a temperature and in her words looking like a tomatoe, so after a quick call to the doctors surgery was again on the move. Infection on the op site so anti-biotics prescribed and back to bed. Managed to get some sleep but woke everytime i had to move but just put this down to the infection.
Didn;t feel too bad this morning and rang the mac nurse to see if my results would be ready tomorrow but again not ready so cancelled my appointment with consultant and rebooked for next week, she asked how I was doing and told her the latest saga about the infection and was told to go straight over so that Claire could have a look and just check me over. So again into the car and off to the hosptial, by now the novelty of all of this has fast worn off and just want to be ok again. Claire then drained off another 300ml of fluid from the op site and as if by magic the pain went straight away, I told her about the results not being ready so she booked me in for another draining session on Friday.
Have managed to have a lovely soak in the bath and feel somewhat more human now and my fantastic cousin is in the process of making tea for everyone so have nothing to worry about except which choccie will I start on tonight.
take care everyone
Love Terri xxx
