Its true what they say you cannot beat your own bed, poppdd my pills and slept soundly right through till 10.30 omg, no one waking me up hourly jusy to check my bp and pulse, felt really guilty when I finally crawled downstairs.
Felt really good, got the first lot of washing on and sitting enjoying a coffee with the other half when disaster struck........a daddy longlegs flew into my hair and before my lovely other half could intervene my natural reaction kicked in and my arm flew out and started beating at my hair. I reckon it took at 3.4 seconds to register that this was the side of my op and the pain kicking in. By this time my other half is wearing a look of abject horror on his face and is saying in slow motion Ohhhh Noooo, well needless to say I needed a sit down after that. Now looking back I think it was the daddy long legs getting back at the human race for all the daddy long legs that have had their legs ripped off since time began. I must admit when I got my breath back I looked high and low for the little bleeder to exact some vengence of my own but he had very wisely evacuated the area.
I think I will keep the windows closed tonight just in case one gets in cos I'm still a little bit miffed but a least I know I can move my arm quite high and can now probably start work on the physio exercises that are supposed to come into play in week 4.
Hope you all have a good weekend and its lovely to be back I kinda missed you lot.
take care love Terri xxx
