Haemo appointment Tuesday

Have my next Haemo appointment next Tuesday & get on well with him.

Annoyingly i've had a letter stating he;s away & i have to see a Mr unpronouncable :(

Hopefully he'll be as good as my usual Haemo otherwise i'll feel let down.

Anyone else get annoyed when appointments get altered?

  • Don't get me started on that subject! I have had appointments cancelled, postponed, changed doctors but worst of all 'chats' with medics who can't speak English well enough for me to understand. Sorry you're being messed around.

    Hope Mr Unpronouncable is a wizard doc!

    Grrr got a letter yesterday moving my appointment again to the 15th April, i rang & refused to accept it stating i'll be moved home by then to Lincs (Plus on holiday).

    I also found out my Consultant has left permanently as his contract finished so i'm with Dr unpronoucable for good unless i get myself moved to Boston Hospital.

    My original Consultant was happy for me to stay with him at Bedford as i was prepared to travel for appointments & combine visit with seeing family.

    How do others deal with changing Hospitals & Consultants??
