Ian has got a date for his CT scan today. 7 July, which is not far off, but a bit bizzare because they only booked him in for a scan because they said they didn't want to wait so long for the 'surgical investigations' which are actually on the 6 July!
I don't know about your situation but from what you say I think it might be time to 'throw a wobbly'. Unfortunately, it is sometimes down to us to 'phone, nag, and DEMAND, something is done. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
