arrrghhh!

Less than one minute read time.

Is it just me or would it be great if we coud access to a padded, sound proof room to let of steam?!?

I have just spent the evening counteracting Sammi's chemo with a load of other medicines to let her get to sleep.

She had sore eyes so we got out the codine, then she had a headache so we got out the paracetamol then she had a sore tummy because of the chemo and other medicines we gave to her so we gave her something for that.

She is only 9 and we seem to be pouring medicine down her all the time!

Sorry for the rant but i find it soooooooo hard seeing her go through this when the biggest worry for her should be what badge she is going for at Brownies.

  • Hi Suzie

Its good to have a rant and rave at times. Do Greek restaurants still allow you to throw plates I wonder.

I know so many tablets to take.

I had sore eyes during chemo which I finished in Sept 08. My eyelids still get sore so on my GPs advice I bathe them in a bit of warm water to which I add a drop of Johnsons Baby Shampoo .

So sorry your daughter is going thro all this.

    Best of Luck

    Hi Suzie,

It is so horrid when cancer hits at someone who is so young. And it must be horrid for you as her mum to watch what she is going through.

Ask at the hospital for eye drops if her eyes are sore, I had gritty eyes at one stage and the eye drops did help

Hope all goes well for Sammi

    Take care,

Hiya, thanks for your help everyone.

I needed a rant as we are only 9 weeks into 2 years of treatment and sometimes we wonder how we will get through it all but the important thing is we know we will!

I love the throwing the plates idea, i will look into that one lol!
