Had my check up this afternoon after surgery. Had an xray first and then had to see the registrar. After getting lost and wandering around the hospital for a while I arrived at clinic red faced, breathless and barking like mad. The x ray showed that my lung had expanded well and no abnormalities showing. He discharged me and is now referring me back to the original hospital where i was diagnosed with the cancer. I've had a niggling cough since surgery which is getting considerably worse and now squeaks. He wasn't very happy with the cough but want's the other hospital to sort it out. (passing the buck i think it's called). He said i might need another bronchoscopy to check there's nothing there.
On the whole i 'm really pleased as lung is looking good and been discharged. I prefer the other hospital anyway!
