Thankyou to you all, after my recent diagnosis I thought i was alone but just by reading the blogs i know i'm not. 2nd chemo yesterday canula went in ok but after a few minutes started to feel hot & faint, stood up legs buckled - nurse said i did do it gracefully! Just a short note of yesterdays events for first chemo, arrived at 7.45am blood tests 9.30am, 10.30am 2 attempts at putting in cannula by this time i was feeling faint, sick, went very pale & my blood pressure had dropped to 70/40 had to call the doctor was told to take a rest & once my blood pressure was back to normal they then would attempt to put in the cannula 11.30am matron arrived to put in the cannula SUCCESS…

due to start chemoradiotherapy 17th Dec. Some words of advice & encouragement needed.
