does anyone else get really tired my husband is on a break from chemo its been just over 2 months now this is because his body is struggerling to cope with the chemo but we have days he can hardly lift his head off the pillow has anyone else had days like this throughout there illness

Hi Sue, I have to say yes I was extremely tired from the chemo and as it builds up in your body the more tired you become. Hopefully he will recover soon from this. Best wishes, Christine xx
I'm afraid it's just part and parcel of taking all these strong drugs. I finished my chemo in May and still get the odd day when I have no energy for anything and just want to lie on the sofa and sleep.
The doctor has said that it's quite normal and could take months before I feel back to my old self.
I know that fatigue is one of the worst side effects and I suppose when you think of all the body has been through it's just trying to heal itself.
