Hi Sue, I am so, so sorry to hear about your husband.
I would like to offer my sincere condolences to you and your family at this very sad time. Take heart in the fact he is in a better place, free from pain and suffering and at peace.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. My husband passed away 23 June and he was only 42 yrs. He suffered so much. I also have cancer [44yrs old], colon and liver. I was fighting this battle with him since last year November. We were diagnose a month apart. Its difficult at the moment for our family, but I trust in the Lord to carry me through for my kids.
You keep well, and I will keep you and the family in my prayers.
Sue, so sorry for you sad loss of your husband. It will not help you if I say I know how you feel so I will just say you are in my thoughts and prayers. (My husband died on 1st March exactly 19 weeks today).
