So tomorrow sees the first of 4 appointments over the next 2 weeks. First up is speech and language with a home visit for a meal time swallow assessment. I'm assuming it's them assessing me eating, and I'm not expected to provide lunch for both of us! Then later this week is the referral to the ENT department of the hospital where I'll be having radiotherapy. The following week we have a check over at the breast clinic followed by the next check up with the original consultant. Such a busy social life !
I found the copy of the referral letter to hospital interesting as it puts it all down on paper, and it's the first time I've not been listening in a chair in a hospital trying to take it all in. Plus, I was described as 'delightful' so that has to be a bonus!
