Today I was looking at my stomach scar and decided that the scabs seems a bit too uniform so had a closer look and realised that they were little stitches still in there. I texted my nurses who said I could pop over and have them popped out. Only half came out and on investigation she said that they were supposed to be dissolving sutures but they don't look like they are going anywhere to me!
I'm still applying the dermatix cream on all the scars. She also suggested that I massage my neck to try and ease some of the fluid build up, but I find touching my neck quite hard as it feels so alien. I did it in the bath with a load of shower gel.
Last night I had fish cake chips and mushy peas from the chippy. The chips took a while but were well worth it!!!!!
