I am due my second follow up
appointment with the RT team this week. Hopefully they will be pleased with the big improvement in my eating and subsequently the improved energy levels. I won't be running and marathons yet but I do feel more up to coping with more day to day tasks and I'm going into work 3 days this week. Not for the whole day, but we'll see how Friday find me
I got in touch with my macmillian nurse on Friday as my original consultant who did my operation said I should fall back into seeing him every month about November and if I'd not heard from them to get in touch. She texted today to say I have an appointment with the team and dietician tomorrow! Quick service I have to say.
My list of things to ask eithe sets of people this week are:
-mention the occasional pains and aches in the area around original Timor site
-ask about general feeling of stiffness in that area- excercises? Massage?
-artificial saliva for overnight ( remember to write down ones joycee uses)
- find out if I would benefit from different type of tooth paste
- tongue swelling, will it be here for ever
- do I have a baseline scan?
- discuss links with HPV virus ( having previously had cells removed after cervical cancer smear) can I go back to tests every year
plenty to remember!!
