Well, I feel in a totally different place now. Days 3-4 were prob worst low. The nose feeding gave me terrible stomach ache, couldn't sleep, then on Monday night a slight sickness episode removed the tube! So they allowed me to go onto food Tuesday ( day 6) a day early. Watery soup has never tasted so good!!! Today I think I'm disconnected from everything. Doppler came out today And blood flow has been checked and all still pumping. I'm practising using smile muscles today- so keep scaring people. Half the staples on arm and neck out today as well, with just a sponge over the wrist staples in place. Keep moving forward...

Hello DLC23 ... glad to hear that you are doing so well after your surgery, well done ! I remember my first ' real food ' was a couple of small spoonfuls of smooth strawberry yogurt ... and then porridge for brekkie with loads of extra milk, it was bliss : )

Yes, keep moving forward ... and take care x

Awww Hun, you sound like you are doing really well. It's all pants and we would all rather be doing something much nicer, but hang on in there. The only way is up! Sending you sparkly strength and love xxx
