Hi Kerry - I am sorry to hear about your auntie.

I dont think anyone - even th doctors will be ableto accurately redict how long your auntie has - we are all different and some people react better to treatment than others. I think it will be a case of seeing if she copes with the radiotherapy (which can be working for up to 6 weeks after it is delvered) and take it from there. It may be they offer her some chemo too after the radiotherapy depending on whethe they think she is strong enoughto take it or not.

I suppose that doesnt leave you much further forward hun - but it is the truth. Try to value your time with your auntie and accept that you may not know how many more you have with her but you wil make each one count.

By the way it is likely that the cancer has been growing in her Liver and Brain for a while - it is just as the results of all the tests and scans come back the docotrs learn more about where the cncer has spread to in the body.

Keep using the site for support and let us know how you and your auntie are doing, sorry I cant be more help, Love Jools xxxx

Oh well maybe in March they were there as small seedlings - things have to be over 1cm normally to be picked up on a scan. What a shame. Take care hun Jools xxxx

Hi Kerry, sorry to hear about your Aunt,

it must be very hard for you taking all this bad news in about her cancer. And

it sounds as if it is spreading very fast.

But as Jools has said no one can predict

your aunts prognosis as everyone is

different , and treatment doesn,t always

react the same. I hope your Auntie is

pain free, and her doctors will im sure

give her the treatment that will help her

    and hopefully make her comfortable.

Come back here when you need to get

things off your chest, people here know

how you are feeling and will be happy

to listen. Sending you a HUG and you

    are not on your own.

    With Love Lucy Lee. XXX
