I got a call from the pharmacist last Thursday to say that the treatment I was due to have yesterday would need to be postponed for a week as the doctor wants a face to face tomorrow. A more recent PET scan has shown an increase in size to an image in my bowel, first pointed out to me three months ago. The consultants were due a “pow-wow” on Monday and would discuss this. Up to now I have not been too worried about the image as my bowel movements don’t appear to have changed and it was possible that the image was as a result of treatment. Now I am worried.
