Following low Hb in recent blood tests I am to have a blood transfusion tomorrow. I have been distinctly lacking in energy lately due to anaemia and hopefully will feel better following the transfusion. I am a little worried about being dependent on this as a treatment however as I am sure it cannot be sustainable. Hopefully new light may be shed on what is going on in my bowel and whether this is connected to blood loss?
