Well just got back with Mum from the oncologist, she starts her first chemo cycle tomorrow, wish us luck, she is very positive, I am apprehensive about her ability to cope with the side effects more to follow, have to keep the faith, and she has her appetite back again....... Well here we go its Mums first appointment since diagnosis with her oncologist next Tuesday, we will be getting her dates and treatment plan for the chemo and radiotherapy, and yipee my big Sis is going to be there.......Iv'e got that sick feeling again in the tummy, and the stupid thing about this is that it isn't me thats ill, how selfish am I !!!, I remind myself of this everytime. Hi does anyone have any advice on how I can help my mum to start to eat and drink, she had a stent fitted last week and this is so very hard trying to encourage her, any ideas would be gratefully received I was really frustrated yesterday. Also trying to find recipies for nutritional menues ect...
