my mum died today

Less than one minute read time.

although i only started to put a few blogs in recently, i thought i would let you all know i really appreciated you support and help

I didnt get my mum to hospital to have her blood transfusion, after talking to her dr i decided with my brother we wanted her to go to hospice.  I did arrange this at 12 lunch time, however i bathed my mum, assisted her to front room, and she died within 10 mins (12.50) 34 days after my dad died.  After 56 years together they were only apart 34 day some comfort in that.

Once again thank you all for your help and support.

Dear splash, just read your blog and wanted to send you hugs.  You must be going through a numbing hell right now.  I am glad your mum died at home though, surrounded by what she knew and loved.  Please keep blogging even if it is to get something off your chest as we all want to support you on this site - God bless, take one day at a time. Ann xx  If there is a god then you mum is with your dad and they are at peace.

thank you all for your wonderful comments.  Does help to come and read these.  Everything so raw at the moment, even when you expect something its still a shock, the end was very quick and did carry out her wishes to remain at home.  Think on sunday night after 'our moments' i thought she was dying, practically stayed up all night just watching her, she did get up and made it down stairs herself so i thought i had over reacted.

Know she is back with dad, no doubt giving him an ear bashing for leaving her in first place, and dad will be shaking his head thinking i didnt get peace for long.  But there is comfort in them being reunited.

God Bless you all and thank you very much
