wish they'd read the blood tests properly before sending me on my way

I don't know the technicalities but would imagine if it was something nasty they would have mentioned it at your check-up. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a good result.

thanks kate - he looked like he was still learniing the system that's all (and I know what it can be like when you're on supply, lol). My consultant started 2 weeks leave today so still waiting for someone to get back to me. You know what it's like with this stuff - it ain't nothin' til it's nothin' :)  xx

hope you get sorted and its just a blip which is what happens to most of us most of the time.

Ironically if a receptionist had not given me a wrong white cell count then I may have never gone to the out of hours GP and as they say it could have been so very different.

According to secretary, LDH test was normal and that if there was anything to worry about, they'd be getting me straight in - so, as we hoped. So I'll ask for them to explain the ALP result at my next appointment (upper normal is 120 and mine's 143). They forget we hang on every comma never mind word so if he'd mentioned it the other day, he could've explained it there and then - don't like surprises, lol!

Thanks for the replies - I can't believe how quickly I got my  full on 'cancer head' on ready to deal with whatever - I think that's a good thing?!?
