- up every 3 hours! I'm wide awake and not a steroid in sight...
Went to the dentist yesterday which meant a trip to the seaside - Whitby. I'm into going to the seaside at the minute. We met our dentist at a jam session - he was a drummer, lol. Not at all disconcerting - he has very steady hands (unlike the bone marrow biopsy nurse-in-training who used to be a chef at a pub I worked in 20 years ago! I can still see her hacking steaks and stuff! She had not very steady hands so my Consultant took over) Anyway, he kindly let us in a side door to avoid 'germy' waiting room and check up was fine. My teeth are perfectly healthy which is a start.
Then we dropped in on a couple of friends for a natter which was really good. We're involved in similar businesses and have a shared loathing of the necessary evil of admin/accounty type stuff. Anyway, they very kindly offered me the job of dealing with their cr*p when / if I wanted it after treatment. Something to look forward to :)
After that we decided to play tourists - chips, ice-cream and a boat ride in the North Sea! Swell was up which made it a bit more exciting! OH sat really close with his arm round me - not something he does alot when we're out so I look at him with my best Bridget Jones smile "Well I didn't want your wig to blow off" Sweet. Got home in time to listen to the mighty boro win 2-0 so a good day.
Why, then, am I up at this godforsaken hour?!?
By the way was the site down last night? I couldn't get on at all...
