Morning all. My internet went off early last night (boo).It's back now (hurray). Kids set off for Leeds Festival at about 8.30("C'moooon, Dad!" - OH is late for just about everything - drives the rest of us nuts) and won't be back til Monday night. They'll sleep all day Tuesday so I should see them Wednesday afternoon...
Their English GCSE results arrived just after they left - A and A*! I'm so pleased for them cos there was no home-edding going on for 2 months at all after my diagnosis in January and we had to catch up with coursework and everything. They were going to do a few others but there was just too much to catch up with - they can wait...Rang and told them and they took the news waay cooler than I did "Oh right. Cool" I put the phone down and burst into tears! A whole 15 minutes worth - the most that have been shed since this all started - glad it was good news that set me off :)
Sorted myself out, rang my Mum, ate the last piece of lemon cheesecake in the fridge and did a housework frenzy hour for friend coming for the night - I know how to celebrate, lol. Lovely morning here - I've also fed the beasts, stripped kids' beds and am washing sheets (and hopefully drying them) before he arrives (Go me). I seem to have loads of energy today though now!
OH is still waiting to make sure they get on the bus - hour late already. He has met up with his mate though - the traffic is horrendous (the A64 if you're reading this Jill ,lol) so I'll probably see them after dark...
I've only just remembered that Consultant is supposed to be ringing me with treatment details today...
off for lunch - call of the stomach...
