Evening all,
Into 'nesting' mode before next week - made sure everything's up to date business-wise and even tidied up my little PC corner in the living room. I just want to clear the clutter - they'll do all the proper cleaning next week when I'll be looong gone :D
My 'next' order arrived - I realised that I hadn't bought anything with buttons down the front. I hadn't really given any thought as to how I'm going to get in and out of the pretty-but-useless stuff I bought the other day when I'm hooked up to a drip for 4 days. So one of my last drives for months will be to Teesside Park tomorrow to return it all. God, I'm good.
Good news today (for me anyway) was that I sorted out their courses! A mix of GCSEs (we've started so we'll finish...), A-level and undergraduate OU courses. Also changed the tutor for one of the GCSEs to someone who gives a stuff. Great news is that they'll both be funded! Huzzah!!! So a good day's work from me.
I'm off to bed and book "The Life Of Pi" - started it last night and it's funny so far. Although we also have 'The Thick Of It' on DVD to finish watching. We've only just come across it (no TV reception out here) and it's about the inner workings of modern government - very funny but also horrifying - what a viper pit - not one appealing character amongst them! Imagine waking up every morning to go into that ?!?:D
