Hi Steph,

Good to hear from you and that you've taken some space to step back and consider everything. I think we all need to do that from time to time - I know I do!

As to your Mum's anniversary and the feeling that" life may come crashing back down on you again" Steph, you may be surprised. Often when you think you are prepared for such a thing, the day comes and goes and you're left wondering why you didn't fall apart. On the other hand, you may have a bad time that day, but, as you've said, you have a lot of friends here with your Mac family and popping into chat is a good idea, if you feel like it.

Personally, I am sometimes "taken unawares", when I least expect it and then some anniversaries I am fine and others I have struggled with. An overall positive attitude helps, but can never bring one's loved one back though. That's where our Mac family comes in, as most have experienced similar losses and have more understanding and definitely more empathy.

Hi Steph, Its great to hear your doing so well and like Rose has said, hey, if you do struggle we are all here for you hun, every step you take. Your a very special friend to me and its good to hear that life is looking brighter for you. Yeah, you may have some of those bad days, where things may hit you out of the blue, you know that, but, now you have found that light, hopefully they won't hang around and you can put them to your advantage, because as hard as they are they also help make us that bit stronger.
