Well had first meeting with my oncologist today and actually feel incredibly positive - for the first time in what seems like ages. I can actually imagine going on holiday now next summer, whereas last week, couldn't see beyond christmas!

This has to be the most difficult thing i have experienced - and hopefully ever will!!
Been waiting since original diagnosis of oligodendraglioma (grade 2-3) for appt with oncologist. finally got it for Tuesday (21st). had biopsy on 16/08/2010 and theyve sent some of sample for 1p19q test - reslts shoudl be with oncologist next week. Till then, haven't a clue as to what treatment will be. just left to trawl various…
