After being he would have his op within 2 to 3 weeks because it is a rare aggressive cancer that spreads fast, we finally have a date to see the consultant, 4 weeks after being diagnosed. with an op a few days later. Misdiagnosis is common apparently because it is so rare. He has already had CT scan which was clear, MRI and Bone showed a small blip, which could be scar tissue or the SSS as i have named it. depending on what they find will determine treatment. What we do know is that he will have to be scanned every 3 months as this SSS likes to spread especially to the lungs. How am i feeling, angry, helpless, humbled by family, friends and work colleages who have been tremendous, and as a utter control freak, very frustrated. roll on wednesday
