As you will see from my profile I am recently diagnosed with carcinoid. I have now had my bone scan done but still dont have an appt with the oncologist. I really feel this is so unfair, your all stressed out as it is, then they keep you hanging around. Wonder what it is in my thyroid probably carcinoid, but it seems I have to hang around again to find out. Sorry feeling rather sorry for myself at the moment. Take care all xx

Give the hospital a call. Believe me, these appointments can be missed and if it's stressing you waiting to hear, then don't hesitate to contact them.
I work within an appointment centre at our local hospital, so I know what I'm talking about!

At least you can relax knowing that you haven't really been forgotten......just as well to check though!Why do they always seem to take their holidays when you want YOUR appointment....oh well, at least he should be fully refreshed.
