Update

1 minute read time.

Well guys we've been to see Onc John today and after asking all his questions and us asking can we have a letter for travelling to Canada he said yes no problem and so in 5 weeks we will be in Vancouver and another 6 months before we have to go see him again.   He even said if Laurence feels as good as he does now then we can ring up and put the appointment back a few more months.  He did tell us today that Laurence is doing right not having any treatment at present as the treatment could make him worse.  So while he's well we are making the most of it.

We went to our local indian Restaraunt last night and Chris Chittal who plays Eric Pollard in Emmerdale was on the next table.  He had noticed  Laurence having his beer through his syringe  and not eating so when I went to the loo he started talking to Laurence.  He seemed a really nice man and let us take his picture.  So not only is Laurence Mr August in this years Calendar he now has his picture taken with TV Stars.

Well all my Mac mates keep in touch and will keep bobbing back (in between completeing bucket list) to see how you are all doing.

    Hi Shelley,

Fine figure of a man Laurence, In fact hes like me if you want to eat or drink stick it in the syringe.

I dont know about Laurence, but I cant talk taste or smell. So there you go we are all different in our own ways. But still enjoy getting up in the morning.

Hope you enjoy your holiday in Canada. You can tell us all about it when you get back.

Sarsfield, Laurence has no tongue at all he still manages to talk. he can taste when he burps and his sense of smell is still there, but he can talk nothing at all orally as it goes into his lungs.  Having a beer is all pyscological but from it he gets the social side of going for a beer, and that makes him feel normal.

Julie That is exactly what we are doing.... making memories.  We have a family holiday with our 3 sons every November, this year its Lanzarote, We try and go away with different friends once a year and then we have our time.
