Hi everyone...hope you're all well. I blogged in september about starting my 1st cycle of chemo on the day i should have flown to Spain on holiday with my sister n her fella...and how jealous i was....well...ITS MY TURN NOW....WOOHOO. Im finally flying out to Majorca on saturday...and i cant wait. I finished my treatment the week before christmas and was told in feb that the last scan was clear...so i came home that afternoon and booked a holiday. Its been timed so my football mad hubby can watch a few world cup games in the sun...he deserves it...bless him. I had a bit of a scare last week when my back went into spasm and i cud hardly walk...but thanx to my physio friend its much better now...and im fit and raring to go..im going to enjoy n make the most of every minute of it...ive never needed or wanted a holiday more than this. Have a great time Sharon - any room in your suitcase for me? Enjoy and congratulations on coming out the other end of the sausage machine. You must celebrate at least the first drink with champagne. Without raining on your parade though, make sure its okay to sunbathe by asking your onco./nurse. Good luck, good holiday. Ann xx

Thank you girls...im all excited now. And Ann...you're right...i have checked about sunbathing...and as long as i wear i high factor sun screen and dont stay out in it all day i'l be ok...im a fair skinned ginge anyway so i always cover up well...haha...but thank you so much for your concern...and if i had room in my case i'd fit you in...but my hubbys already moaning about how much stuff im taking...he doesnt understand...its a woman thing...lol...take care n i'l let you know how it goes...love Sharon xxx

Hi N...im going to Palma Nova...and its only 5mins from Magaluf. Ive had to buy all new stuff becoz i put so much weight on during my treatment n not working none of my holiday clothes will fit me...but its a good excuse..lol...im going to have to go thru my stuff again and take some of it out...i always take too much and dont wear half of it..but like i said...its a woman thing...haha...xxx
