Carcinoid Syndrome Help

Hello

I wondered if anyone else on here has got or has heard of Carcinoid Syndrome?

I am currently having tests to confirm i have it.

I have suffered for last 18 months with chronic diahrea and facial flushing. Pain under left rib.

I am recovering at the moment from thyroid cancer and my oncologist has now just done blood tests on calcitonin, cga levels and 24 urine levels for serotinin.

I believe if any come back raised this means i have tumour somewhere in body. (prob liver)

Please if anyone knows or has this can you talk to me about how you cope with these awful symptoms. (now housebound)

I'm sorry you are going through so much with your treatment. I just hope you find out what's what as soon as possible and then you will know where you are.

Thank you.

I phoned and left message on consultants answer machine this morning and she so far has not got back to me. I need some blood test results before i see oncologist on wednesday.

I am so fed up and feel so ill.
