oh..... now there are so many different ones ....its hard to advise anyone cos we all react differently,

listen to your doc/nurses.... listen to your body, for me taking control and shaving your head is good if you know its going anyway, on your terms, but not all chemo makes u lose your hair,

stock the freezer with ice lollies, strong flavours help as food usually tastes strange, rest when u need too

i know they are a bit general... but so was your question, good luck with it

I had to drink a lot of water for the first couple of days after Chemo which tasted quite boring so found flavoured fruit juice worked.    I also eat melon with breakfast which seems to hydrate me.

I agree that it is good to cut hair short to avoid that "furry animal" in the shower and in your bed.  Oh I found keeping a lint roller by the bed handy to "de-hair" my pillow when my hair was dropping out.

Good luck with your treatment and I wish you well.

    Thanks all for your help.

It wasn't too bad, when they finally got the needle in that was!!!  Have been sick a couple of times and been tired, but that's it for now.  Hope it stays that way.

Am eating regularly, just having what I fancy and drinking plenty.

Thanks again.  Hope you are all well.
