Well i am off on Holiday next Friday 9th July italy sorrento for 2 weeks then when i return the pet scan and results, i am going to forget if i can and just enjoy my hols i am feeling quite good which frightens me a little? dont know why. I never thouight i would get through the chemo and radiotherapy, my oncologist said he has never known anyone to get side effects like me!! i told him i was unique he said you cetrtainly are!! i had bad side effect swith the chemo who doesnt !! the usual loss of hair palmar plantar syndrome which i still have, 6 weeks radiotherapy, problem swallowing, then awful burns, i looked like a burns vicim ended up in the burns unit in selly oak !! but thank god i got through it!! then i got a chest infection and then lung inflammation!! i thought my time had come i was so ill couldnt breathe cough, sneeze or anything !! but i am still here!! still got some some lung inflammation but not as painful. So i am going on holiday and try to recuperate for the next round i know my cancer is not curable but maybe just maybe the treatment will have held it back i hope so !!! we will finfd out 2nd august i will let all know xxx
