My sarcoma/lipoma is in my right thigh and apple sized. It is embedded in the muscle. No confirmed diagnosis as yet, but to be removed in a few weeks. Anyone any idea how long before I will be able to drive after the surgery?

Welcome to the Online Community. I'm sorry to hear that you may have a sarcoma - it must be a nerve-wracking time waiting to have it removed.
We have aSoft-tissue sarcomas group here on the site - I'd suggest you try joining and posting in there. Even if what you have turns out not to be a sarcoma, the people in that group may have had similar surgeries, and can share their experiences of recovery times.
Another thing I'd suggest is giving our team of experts a call on the free Macmillan Support Line (0808 808 0000, Mon-Fri, 9ma-8pm). They can give you lots of practical information on things like recovery from surgery. They're also there to listen if you just need to talk about any worries you may have.
