    Hi Sandy,

Sorry to hear about your Mum and Dad. But you dont have to do this all on your own. Have you tried to  get in touch with the Social Services. They can be very good at providing Help of all kinds. The Hospital that your Mums in should provide a Nurse

to help to look after you Mum and Dad. I do hope you try and get some help if you try and do it all by yourself you will end up making yoursel Ill and that wont help anyone. All the best.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xxx

    Hi Sandy,

I am so sorry to hear about your mum and can understand your concern about your dad. As has already been said , you can get help and you need to because, with the best will in the world , you can't do everything. Then you can concentrate on being there as their daughter, offering love and support and whenever you need to , come on here and we will help in any way we can.

                  Take care,

                        Love lizzie xx

    Hi Sandy,

I am sorry you've found your way to this site but now you have the love and support is great.  Having lost my husband nearly 8 months ago just try and enjoy every minute you have with Mum and try not to think about the eventual outcome (easier said than done!) and make sure you get all the support and help you need.

    Look after yourself

    Love and hugs

    Hi

Thanks for all your kind words.I do have a sister who is been really good and my dad does have carers already and we are going to contact social sevices to hopefully keep dad at home.My sister and I live over an hours drive away from our parents but I have a good friend who does a lot for my parents she already does there housework and shopping and will continue to help.

It is still hard to think mum will not be here soon .Mum is very matter of fact about it all her only worry is dad.I am going to enjoy the time left with mum and be strong for her and dad.

       Love Sandra.x
