cycle one of caelyx down.. lots more to go, after 4 (my loints locked up, and muscel cramp, bright pink rash and usual reaction ro sterriods bout 30 mins in total) alleric reactions lots of different sterroids, piriton an stuff latter we finaly finished cycle one.. so far so good just feel too warm and sweaty.. no sickness yet.. went straight out for pizza.. i wonder if this is all down to the glucose that they used to water down the chemo with and if im on sugar high..but hopefully i wont be too bad over the next few days x x x the reactions were quite extreme but hey 30-40 mins of pain and agony for 3-4 weeks of being reasonalbly well im sure i can handle that !! i was really down when i wrot my last blog. Guess you have days like that i normally try to bottel it up for my step kids sake but.. last night was hard xxx oh well off for another ice pop and sum pills ill keep this updated through out my treatment.. you never know it might help someone else

Hi Sami, sounds like you had an awful time for your first chemo. Hopefully when you have the next they will have got the dosage right. I think well all have ups and downs when we are having treatments. Just try to stay positive l know it is easier to say than do but it does help. When l was having treatment l try to plan what l am going to do when l am on a good week it helps me.
I am going to be having Caelyx when l start chemo for Ovarian Cancer so l will be reading your blogs with great interest. I best explain that l have had three rounds of Taxol and Carboplatin since 2001 but have now become resistant so they no longer work for me. I have not started yet because my ct scan has gone for a second opinion but l expect it will be in October if l don't have symptoms before then.
