radical radiotherapy

on monday 10 may im starting my radical radoitherapy treatment for lung cancer , this entails every monday chemotherapy & radiotherapy and the rest of the week on radiotherapy for 7 weeks. I have been well informed by the consultants of the side affects, this has now made me very nervous as i have another diagnoses which they say could be connected which is DERMATOMYOSITIS. if anyone has had the same symptoms, please advise.

Hi Regret, starting treatment can be daunting, i hope everything goes well for you and not to much discomfort. I dont know anything about your other diagnoses i cant help you there. I will be thinking of you on monday and hope your back here in Mackland soon to let us know how you got on.

Hi Lucy Lee, thanks for your reply, its most welcome. Yes ive made it through the first day, it was all due to the chemo & radiotherapy staff who made every effort to assure me that i would be well cared for..
