My husband hadn’t been feeling well for a while, nothing serious , just a bit off. At the end of May he contacted the doctor (a telephone consultation) over stomach discomfort. Doctor prescribed a indigestion medication. He didn’t get any better so went to A&E and was admitted immediately with a very bad liver infection. He was treated for a week with antibiotics and is recovered. While he was in hospital he had a scan and the results showed gallbladder cancer which had seemed to have spread to liver, lungs and kidney with other small indications in his abdomen.
We have an appointment with the oncologist next week.
We don’t know what to expect, treatment or prognosis.
The thing I’m struggling with is that my husband now looks well, is well, is in no discomfort or pain, but does become fatigued easily.
How can someone who is so ill look so well.
im feeling anxious about next week
