life after treatment

Less than one minute read time.
after nearly a year of chemo and harversting and stemcell, life starting to feel a lot better, each time l have been treated for this l have picked myself up and start all over again but this time l felt it effected me so different, and also took me longer to recover, all sort of things have been going on in my mind but l have just kept this to myself how can you say when alotof people have no idea what you have been through and for me watching others , and making some lovely friends and they dont get remmision, but one thing is for sure no ones has any guarantees so its enjoy every day and take nothing for granted its been a journey for me and l hope its a while before this thing comes intruding back ,its was worth it and the benifits and l would do it again if it keeps me longer around my love ones, any one going through what l hvae been already , keep hanging in there and take each day at a time,

Awesome Ronnie!  I'm so glad you are doing well.  It does seem to take a LONG time to get through these things and get some semblance of our life back to do with what we want.  The question then becomes what do we want?  How do we begin our "new normal" life.  My hubby still has one more stretch to go with his Myeloma, but he feels so good right now and its wonderful to see.  We have had many changes through our journey, many for the better, which I hear is often the case as well.  So I hope that you not only have it gone for a good long while, but for the long haul Ronnie.  And you are so right, we have NO GUARANTEES each day that we are alive we are vulnerable to all sorts of things, but we can't live life that way, we just have to LIVE IT!

    Kudos Pretty Lady!

    Best,

    Lori
