Feeling flat

Less than one minute read time.

Hey

Just feeling really flat ove rthe last few days. I know that a hysterectomy is a big op and it has only been like 2 weeks but I just thought I would be seeing some improvement. My back and legs are aching probably because of all the laying around and I generally just feel really crap.

I guess I just a bit down about everything. The shock and adrenalin that kind of gets you through the tests and operation are wearing off and now Im just left with the reality of whats happened. Dont know whats hurting more right now my body or my heart.

Hi Robynn, good advice from everyone here. I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, its unbelievable how tired and down one can feel. You just have to listen to your body, take short walks around the house, get as much rest as you can, pamper yourself, even better if you have someone else to pamper you. You will feel tearey off and on, but your body has been thru a battle ,you just have to give into it, you will get better but it takes time.

    Sending you hugs. xxxx

hiya Robynn! i had my hysterectomy 10 months ago! i promise it does get better, your body just needs a little time to get used to being without something it's had all your life,  day by day you will start to notice little improvements.  hope you feel better really soon
