well i had intended to start this on the first of october but a day late is not to bad, to get all the history ot of the way i was dx in november 2007, lucky for me i know that the time between blood tests that found my illness was erxactly one year so i was informed early on.
after the initial shock i took the bull by the horns and got all my affairs in order as best i could, you know i sorted the insurances out , wrote those letters and had a good cry. but on reflection 2 yrs along the road maybe i over reacted? maybe i needed to do that stuff , either way it felt right for me and thats all that counts.
the guys andf girls at the mac unit in milton keynes couldnt be a better bunch, always greeting me with a smile and my first name the fellow interns :-) are just as nice and surprisingly open about theire conditions and treatments. and that helps too as from day one i like many had a lot of miss information and ill found fears on what it all meant and what was ahead.
