i have recently found out i have a reginal recurrence of my breast cancer. i started radio this week and im feeling really low. infact i guess until now i have been in denial. im 33 years old and was first diagnosed when i was 29. by the time i managed to get my gp to take my concerns seriously the cancer had already spread to most of my lymph nodes and the tumor was very large. dont get me wrong, im not blaming, im just new to the site and want to share my story. and to be honest i dont know what else to say!!!!! i would really like to hear from any one who would like to chat xx

Hi Relly, welcome to What Now...sorry that you have found yourself here with us, but at least here you will find support for what you are having to go through. Life just doesn't seem fair that you are having to deal with all of this! I know that feeling of being low and have found the people here so very supportive...the chat room is a good place to help lift your spirits or you can be as serious as you want. At the moment you need to make sure that you are getting enough rest and nutrition to help you through the radiotherapy, it can wear you down otherwise! Please keep posting so we can keep up with your progress as we really do care.
