I keep thinking back to my last holiday - my last BBC vacation – a week in France last May. Once again we stayed in La Palmyre, near Royan. It is a village on the Atlantic coast about half way down on the left hand side (yes I did get my geography O’level ) about an hour below La Rochelle and hour or so above Bordeaux. I have mentioned it before ... in the Pigeon Poo story ... which apparently is one of the most popular blogs on here ... and you call yourself friends ...
