I have just turned 45 and was diagnosed in June with breast cancer and secondary lymph node cancer. I have had a left side masectomy and level 3 node clearance where we found 20 out of 24 affected nodes. I have had 3 sessions of FEC chemo and then 3 TAX of which i have got 2 weeks of sessions left ( went weekly as had a few issues along the way ) I will be starting 3 weeks of radiotherepy after xmas and then hopefully be able to move onto herceptin for 12mths. My cancer was non- hormonal and came out of the blue. It has not been a great 6mths but I have managed to work and continue as normal as possible. I am a mother of 2 and a nana of 1 and if you would like to add me as a friend or fancy a chat any time let me know. Stay strong but remember we all have bad days and you are allowed to get angry or sad as well. We cant all be hero's all of the time :) xx
