Steroid Stratosphere!

Less than one minute read time.
WELL...By 12pm today I had done 30 minutes of salsa, been to the hairdresser and supermarket, made a cauldron of fresh mushroom soup and written half an essay on terrorist incursions into the Niger Delta (which I shall have to revisit in a more normal state as it is doubtless a load of frantic drivel!) I am the laziest person in the world! - If I'd had my hands on this stuff years ago I could have been the Prime Minister. Luckily for you all it was not to be... I assume this crazed energy-lunacy will not continue??? Domperidone is the name of the little pill; more effective than Dom Perignon, I can tell you.... Cat

    Hiya Catriona

    multitasking or what?

I'm sure everything you do is quality and you would make a great PM (anything better than what we've got now)

    take care

Hi Catriona - I'm gonna post on my address to you and you can send me some of this Harry Potterish sounding wonder drug! God, what I wouldn't do for a wee burst of energy at the moment, but hey, it'll come back. Steroids and appetite enhancers did one thing for me; they put 2 and a half stones onto my 9 stones body, and at 5' 3'' I'm thinking of auditioning to become a Roly Poly dancer - you know those wee women who have a good store of ahem fat on them and who could dance the socks off of??? Name me a dancer, quick!! Ok, Fred Astaire. BUT I would definitely need the Domperidone to get me going............zzzzzzzzzz Hell, it even sounds like Dom Perignon, doesn't it? Don't worry sweetheart, you will definitely fizzle out - I'd enjoy the madness if I were you. Love from kate xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    hIya Sharry - how you??

Sympathise so much with you, Kate - everyone's been at pains to tell me my fantasises of becoming a mare-eyed skeleton will not come true.

Anyway, resisted my fingers itching to make a chocolate marquise this afternoon and cleaned the house instead.  Hah!!

I had some of that, and it had absolutely no effect.  It didn't even stop me feeling sick.  I was going to gove it to the chemist for his own repatriation scheme for useless drugs.

    Glad they work for you.

Bizzre, isn't it, how varied reactions are??  I'm still astonished that 3 days after my first chemo my only side-effects are apparently boundless energy.  Cannot believe that will last.  Although all my friends say I've consumed so many toxic substances over the years that I've probably been on chemo for the past 2 decades anyway!...
